"I am a Danish artist engaged in exploring human complexity through abstract-expressive portraits. Using predominantly acrylics, my work is an organic dialogue with the canvas, revealing both the luminous and shadowy corners of the psyche. Each piece is a layered compilation of emotional states, driven by my desire to further approximate and integrate authentic being. I hope to inspire self discovery and want to challenge people to face themselves - not only the "correct" aspects of self, but also - perhaps more importantly - the darker sides. I want to provoke conversations about the multifaceted nature of human identity and to break down barriers of pretentiousness and superficiality so that we may relate to each other on deeper levels."
